Sam looked around the extra bedroom and smiled. He couldn’t believe that this room would soon be covered in anything and everything baby. If he had it his way, the room would be either Avatar themed or Spiderman. However, Quinn didn’t think it was proper for the little one on the way and Sam was a sucker for her so he gave in. Though if he was being truthful, he knew if he had really wanted it, she would have given in to him. He walked over and picked up the only thing they had bought for baby so far. It was one of those toys that you put on the crib that played music to help baby sleep. Little fish swam around as it played and a soft light was emitted. He pressed the button and the soft chords of ‘Mary Had a Little Lamb’ played. He sat it back down and walked out of the room.
The man made his way to his and Quinn’s room and walked in, smiling as he saw his gorgeous wife laying on the bed. “Hey Q,” he said as he sauntered over and leaned to give her a kiss. The boy winked and then moved down her perfectly slim body to rest his hands on the tiny barely there baby bump. He kissed it and then started to talk. “Hey Baby. It’s me, your daddy. I’m trying to learn more about what’s going on with you but it’s kinda hard. The books are big and the words are bigger but Mommy says she’ll explain them to me. You are getting so big, little baby. I can’t wait to meet you. Neither can your Mommy. Thanks for letting the morning sickness pretty much stop. We love you,” he said as he kissed her stomach one more time.
He looked up at her and grinned. “It’s time for Daddy to sing Baby a song and then give Mommy some lovin’,” he stated with a wink. Sam moved back to her stomach and cleared his throat. “Come stop your crying, and we’ll be alright, Just take my hand, hold it tight, I will protect you from all around you, I will be here don’t you cry, For one so small, you seem so strong, My arms will hold you keep you safe and warm, This bond between us can’t be broken, I will be here don’t you cry…Cause you’ll be in my heart, yes you’ll be in my heart, From this day on now and forever more, You’ll be in my heart, no matter what they say, You’ll be in my heart, Always…”
